America is so f***ed up that the only people who thrive here are the people who drink the poison

The people are selfish and nasty in this country.
Obviously. Two of hundreds of reasons why I wouldn't want to live in America again, at least not long-term... America would only be tolerable for 3 months maximum in optimal conditions meaning holiday home in that country, car, nice weather, money isn't an issue, not seeking human interaction, and not seeking human relationships.

Only the worst people can thrive in a nation as degenerate, corrupt, selfish, dysfunctional, and toxic as modern America.

You have to be delusional and the ability to be duplicitous to be successful. It makes for all of the internal contradictions we have to live with here.

I left the country in 2016 and lived abroad in Colombia, Panama, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan. I've also been to Singapore, Korea, and Malaysia. In almost every country I went to, I would rather live and work there than America. It was truly amazing and met tons of great people and changed my life for the better and made me a better person.
@kangarunner

That's an awesome list of countries: A lot of those are on my list of places to go check out too. It would be fun to hear what you thought about each one from travelling there first-hand, if you ever feel like telling about it.

Any favorite choice of where you'd like to go back to when you next get to leave the US? :)

COLOMBIA

Medellin: After my experience in Colombia, I can say that most Colombians I met are warm, friendly, happy people. Medellin is a relaxed social culture. Not being able to speak Spanish will limit what you can do here. Perfect warm sunny weather all year round. The city itself is fairly safe as long as you stay out of bad places. There’s also scenery and mountains farther outside of the city. Real relaxed lifestyle in Medellin so do not bring your arrogant, loud foreigner attitude here which will not be welcomed. The nightlife at the bars in Medellin is wild and on another level with a lot of chicas willing to dance with you. Always go out at night with your friends and never alone. If you’re a young foreign guy here, most locals will suspect that you’re in CO for partying and women. Never get into a taxi alone, always go with someone else. Also, I’ve heard on other youtube channels that women at clubs/bars are drugging foreigners more and more.

PANAMA

Panama City: Big city, very humid, almost being hard to breathe. It’s fairly expensive here and gambling is legal with a few casinos. Prositution in some areas.

THAILAND

Pros: Islands, warm, sunny weather year round, cheap street food, cheap places to live, motorbike taxis everywhere. Cons: Bring an international driver license before you come or get a ticket by the police when you’re driving a motorbike. Good luck making real friends with Thais.

VIETNAM

Same Pros as Thailand. Vietnam has more of a Chinese influence based on history. Vietnam has a very tight-knit social culture.

INDONESIA

Bali - Relaxed, peaceful Asian culture. Bali is green and eco-friendly. IMO, the island of Bali itself is not that impressive to be honest but it’s a paradise for surfers.

KOREA

Seoul - People here don’t look happy and they were closed off to talking to me. Koreans are focused on work from the first day they’re born. It’s not a fun place and I probably won’t go back.

JAPAN

Tokyo and Osaka - Being a foreign tourist here is an interesting experience. Japan is like stepping into an alien world. In fact, they may be aliens. Many Japanese people look serious but the social culture is more vibrant and energetic than Korea. There is a lot of attention to detail in this culture. It’s very clean and there are zero trash bins on the road. Japanese women. I definitely want to go back to Japan.

You don't find many fat women in Japan and the crime rate in Japan is very low especially compared to the US.
